A great reminder. It's easy to remain stagnant when everyone else thinks you're a risk-taker. But the same person who is "brave" enough to skydive may be terrified of meeting new people. You're not truly facing your fears if you're not afraid of the task at hand. Step out of your comfort zone. Do things that scare YOU.
Have you ever noticed how simply throwing on a pair of sunglasses can make you seem more pulled together? Maybe it's just me (and maybe I'm not fooling anyone—LOL). If you want a pair of sunnies similar to mine for a couple bucks less, head over to Urban Outfitters. The temples of the glasses are a little thicker, which is why I stuck with my FP ones (glasses give me a headache pretty easily, so most days I wear contacts instead of my prescription lenses). But if thick temples don't bother you, ZeroUV has a nearly identical pair for $9.99!
TBH, 90% of the shoes I own are from DSW. They've got a fantastic sale section and deals up the whazoo (as in $20 OFF COUPONS have been known to show up in my email inbox). I'd been on the hunt for a pair of black summer sandals, when lo and behold, I fish these Calvin Klein beauties out of the clearance section. The gold detailing on the heels won me over.
And just an FYI—my enthusiasm for high waisted shorts and kimonos is in full force. As in, don't be surprised if it's all I wear for the next two months...
