This collection of songs was recorded LIVE at @eopresents and captures the unique chemistry and nuances that can only be heard at a live show. We like to think of these songs as our twist on the classic arrangements without compromising what everyone loves about these nostalgic tunes. One of our favorite comments we’ve gotten so far is: “I hate Christmas music but I love your version!!”

Had a blast playing the @southmainkitchen stage for the second year in a row at @wireandwoodfest!! Still blown away each and every time you lovelies show up to listen to us sing songs and ramble on stage and be extra AF (swipe to the second photo for evidence of this). And you guys went crazy buying our merch!! Y’all are the true MVPs so THANK YOU for showing your appreciation by supporting the art we create 🙌🏼 One more s/o to whoever snapped these amazing photos! Still working on trying to find out who that is so we can credit them. ❤️

Did you know Chasing Lovely was a fashion blog before it was a band? And that the blog still exists on our website?

But there was a period of about two years where I had to completely withdraw myself from the fashion world. No blogging. No buying new clothes. I only purchased necessities like socks, a pair of proper running shoes (I didn't own any) and some yoga pants.
•
Why did I go to this extreme? After watching a documentary on Netflix called "The True Cost", my eyes were opened to the dirty truth about the fast fashion industry: employees who aren't being paid living wages, unsafe working conditions, the unthinkable amounts of textile waste that end up in landfills—all in the name of consumerism and profits.
•
I learned a lot about myself and my relationship with clothes in those two years. I learned to turn off those messages from advertisers that try to make you feel "off trend" every other week. I began to develop a sense of style not based on trends, but rather my own self-expression and preferences.

While I haven't reached a point where I have a 100% ethically "conscious" closet, I have come to realize that striking a balance is important. If you're interested in reading about my journey and how you can take steps towards a more sustainable wardrobe, head to the link in our bio!
