Taylor always tries to force me to thrift with her. She has a tendency of making me do things she likes. But I guess it opens me up to new experiences—many of which I’ve come to enjoy. Like writing this blog for example! Or (maybe) even scrounging thrift shops for hidden bundles of joy...
I found this jacket at Savant Vintage (if you're a Nashville native, that's in the 12 South district). It is one of the pricier thrift stores in town, but Taylor lured me in with a 50% off Scoutmob deal.
I love how this jacket makes people smile. Maybe they're trying to suppress laughter that anyone would ever wear it out in public...or maybe it just brings joy to people’s days—like a cute puppy or funny dance move. Either way, I don't care. People are smiling!

It's been a while since I've dyed my hair, so I thought I would try the red color Taylor's been sporting the last few years. I've never seen anyone with red ombre, and thought it would be a unique twist to the trend.
I was totally joking about dying my hair! I thought it was funny how the sunlight turned my hair red in this photo and wanted to see if anyone would believe it was real. Did I fool you? Leave an answer in the comments :)
I’ve also been obsessing over musical duo Johnnyswim. If you haven’t heard their music, you’re missing out. Seriously. Incredible. Plus, they're coming out with a full length album THIS MONTH. I’m pumped. :D :D :D
